Dear Johnstown Middle School Families,
"Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear the hardships of today." - Thich Nhat Hahn
While we navigate this uncharted time, we appreciate your flexibility and support. We recognize that this new style of learning presents a challenging transition, and we are committed to partnering with you to create the best possible experience for your students.
The JMS teachers are working diligently to maintain quality instruction and to provide engaging assignments that are both accessible and achievable. We understand that conflicts will arise. Please alert us when this happens. Clear and consistent communication between students, parents, and teachers will equate to a strong partnership that fosters academic success.
We know we cannot fully recreate the school evironment at home. The important thing is to advance the students' learning while they work away from the building. Please reach out and let us know what we can do to further assist you during this time.
