    Week 1 and Week 2- E-Learnng (March 23- April 5, 2020)

    Please use the e-learning bingo to decide what actitivies that you want to complete for the week. You will be responsible for earning 100 pts. per week. There are 2 assessments throughout the next couple of weeks. 

     In addition, I have emailed students a link to a classroom where students can go in and retrieve the documents based on catergories. You will also have the ability, to get documents on this page. You may submit lesson plans through the classroom, email or social media.

    Week 3- E-Learning (April 14-April 19, 2020)

    This week  you are responsible for slide 5 and slide 6 of your Personal Health Care PowerPoint Assessment: 

    ______ (5 Points) Slide 5: Social Health – give an example of how you will practice good social health​-  in a time of social distancing, what can you do to keep your social health healthy? maybe you have some ideas on how you want to reconnect to friends once this is over, what does it mean to be socially healthy?

    ______ (5 Points) Slide 6: Learning Style – describe the type of learning style that you have.  Give examples of how you will study because of this.​- I am attaching a quiz (multiple intelligence) you can take to see how you learn best.     Week 4- E-Learning (April 20- April 26, 2020)

    This week you are responsible for slides 7 and slide 8 of your Personal Health Care PowerPoint Assessment: 

    ______ (7 Points) Slide 7: Nutrition – Go to myplate.gov and put in your information to find out how much from each category of the myplate that you need and the amount of daily calories that you need

    ______ (10 Points) Slide 8: Nutrition – Meal plan for one day following the myplate guidelines for you.

    Carefully consider your meal planning- How are YOU FUELING YOUR BODY?

    Week 5- E-Learning (4/27/2020-5/3/2020)

    This week you are responsible for Slide 9 and Slide 10  of your Personal Health Care PowerPoint Assessment: 

    ______ (5 Points) Slide 9: Physical Activity – How much do you need each day and what does that mean. 

    ______ (8 Points) Slide 10: Physical Activity – A weekly exercise plan for yourself.

    Please watch the video from the Mayo Clinic that talks about how much exercise you should have per week. Thsi will vary based on your eating habits and genetics.

    Week 6- E-Learning (5/4/2020- 5/10/2020)

    This week you are responsible for slide 11 and slide 12 of your Personal Health Care PowerPoint Assessment: 

    ______ (5 Points) Slide 11: Resisting Peer Pressure – Give an example of a way that you resist peer pressure.

    ______ (12 Points) Slide 12: A list of unhealthy health habits to avoid (minimum of 10 items)

     

    Week 7- E-Learning (5/11/2020-5/17/2020)

    Your entire Personal Health Care PowerPoint Assessment is due. 

    If you turn it in completed by 5/17/2020 you will recieve the 20 points for work ethic and turning your work in on time. After the 17th, there will be a deduction of 2 points per day that it is late, unless you contact me and make arrangements. 

     

    Week 8- E-Learning (5/18/2020-5/24/2020)

    Turn in any outstanding missed work by the 24th so final grading can go in to Progressbook.
