    Read over Section 13-3 "The War with Mexico" on pages 390-3395 (online section link 13-3 The War with Mexico) and complete the following summary questions for section 13-3 13-3 War with Mexico summary questionsTry your best to spell words correctly, as that may make a difference in whether the answer will be counted correctly or not.  This will be a formative grade to help you prepare for the summative assessment next week.

    *We have been looking at and studying Westward Expansion and the growth of the United States from the Atlantic to Pacific coastlines.  On page 394 of your Creating America textbook (found in Section 13-3, here is a link  13-3 The War with Mexico / Map found on page 394) there is a special purpose map focusing on the regions of the U.S. titled "Growth of the United States, 1783-1853".  It provides you with information about when and from whom the United States obtained its territory. 

    **Study the labels, the colors, and any other details from the map on page 394, then answer the following questions Growth of U.S., 1783-1853 pg 394 map questions as a recap of Westward Expansion.  Try your best to spell words correctly, as that may make a difference in whether the answer will be counted correctly or not.  This will be a formative grade to help you prepare for the summative assessment next week.

    ***Once done with Growth of United States from 1783-1853 map analysis questions, go to EdPuzzle and complete Westward Expansion video questions as a review of Chapter 13 main points THAT WILL BE TAKEN AS A SUMMATIVE QUIZ REVIEW.

    ****Next week there will be a summative assessment regarding Chapter 13 "Manifest Destiny", so you may want to review over the sections of the chapter and assignments completed for the chapter content.

    FYI:  Monday 4/20 ZOOM "Q & A for Summative Test" @ 11:00am

    I will be hosting a ZOOM meeting for anyone that has questions regarding Chapter 13/Section 14-1 Manifest Destiny, Westward Expansion, and Immigration of the 1800's content before the summative test becomes is assigned and live on Monday, April 20th at noon.  The Zoom meeting will be at 11am and be open for an hour (until noon).  The test will be accessible on Monday at 12:00pm following the meeting.  If you have questions about any of the content please stop in and I'll be available to talk.
